A meeting point for parents who take their children to have fun, the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch is a super cute place for children and adults to enjoy Halloween.  It runs during the entire month of October in West Hollywood.

THE STANDARD HOTEL

O Standard hotel Hollywood, é famoso por seu estilo retro; os pufes, luminárias, cores, objetos de decoração da recepção e dos quartos, o papel de parede do bar e o restaurante estilo "diner" nos transportam aos "anos 60", assim como a piscina e seus frequentadores que evocam a época "Glam Hollywood".

The Standard Hollywood, is famous for its retro style; from the ottomans, to the lamps, to the colors, to the carefully-chosen artifacts in the lobby, to the wallpaper in the bar and the classic American diner, the hotel transports us back to '60s.  The pool as well as its patrons evoke the era of "Glam Hollywood".

A Melrose é uma avenida onde você pode passar o dia caminhando, pois ela possui uma grande concentração de lojas e restaurantes. Da La Cienega Blvd a Fairfax Ave, em West Hollywood, estão as lojas de estilistas conceituados como Vanessa Bruno, Diane Von Fustenberg, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Mcqueen, etc... Passando a Fairfax Ave, sentido Hollywood, estão as lojas mais alternativas, vintage e fast fashion como Urban Outfitters e American Apparel, que está ao lado do Fairfax flea market (post abaixo).

É uma delícia passear ao ar livre, no meio deste "caos" organizado e inspirador, que é o mercado de pulgas da Fairfax--uma atração imperdível que acontece todos os domingos no estacionamento da Fairfax High School, localizado na esquina da Melrose Ave e Fairfax Ave, em West Hollywood.

It is a delight to stroll in the open air, in the midst of the inspiring organized chaos that is the Fairfax Flea Market--an unmissable event that occurs every Sunday in the parking lot of Fairfax High School, located on the corner of Melrose and Fairfax Avenues in West Hollywood.

CASEY NEISTAT: THE SUPER MAN

Casey é um brilhante e inovador filmmaker que mora em NYC. Ele virou celebridade nos E.U.A. produzindo vídeos polêmicos e hilários, como o Bike Thief 2012 onde ele rouba sua própria bicicleta várias vezes em plena Manhattan. Build an iPhone 5 dock for $1 que ele acabou de fazer depois de ficar frustado com Apple por não incluir um dock com o novo carregador do iPhone 5 ou bike lanes onde ele toma uma multa por andar de bicicleta em local proibido, mas demonstra de forma tragicômica o que pode acontecer quando você tenta andar na ciclovia de NYC. Max e Casey fizeram alguns vídeos juntos como o A Day With Nike+ Fuel Band o super viral Make it Count onde eles deram a volta ao mundo em 10 dias e Unreal sobre uma nova companhia de chocolate orgânico (veja mais no post abaixo).

Casey is a brilliant and innovative filmmaker who lives in NYC.  He has become a celebrity in the U.S. producing controversial and hilarious videos such as Bike Thief 2012 where he steals his own bicycle several times in public or Build an iPhone 5 dock for $1 where he does just that after becoming frustrated with Apple for not including a dock with the new iPhone cable and bike lanes where he gets a ticket for cycling outside of the designated lane and then proceeds to show, in true tragicomic form, what can happen when you actually try to stay within Manhattan's bike lanes.  Max and Casey have worked on a few videos together such as A Day With Nike+ Fuel Band, the super viral hit Make it Count where they go around the world in 10 days and, most recently, a video about the new organic candy company Unreal (see the post below).

Casey is the embodiment of the sayings "if you can think it, do it" and "don't leave for tomorrow what you can do today".  He is the type of person that goes straight from an airplane to the gym, works on numerous projects at the same time, posts daily to several social networks, travels all the time but manages to spend every weekend with his son in Connecticut, is perpetually interested in everyone and everything, will do a handstand on the edge of a giant cliff, runs marathons, wins marathons, scales mountains, etc.

As pessoas são diferentes e divergem em suas necessidades e vontades, temos momentos, onde nossa rotina pode estar mais lenta ou acelerada. Não existem regras, o melhor é achar seu equilíbrio entre trabalho, esporte e diversão. E não perder de vista pessoas como Casey, que são exemplos de superação e sempre uma injeção de inspiração. People are different and differ in their needs and desires.  We have moments where our routine can be slower or faster. UNREAL

UNREAL é uma nova empresa de doces que alega ter retirado o "lixo" dos doces. SANTA MONICA BEACH

A praia de Santa Monica tem sua parceira Malibu ao norte e Venice Beach ao sul. Elas representam o estilo "California lifestyle", com famílias inteiras entrando no mar com seus "fun e longboards", sempre com neoprene porque o pacifico é gelado.

Santa Monica is located between Malibu and Venice Beach. They all represent the "Californian lifestyle" with entire families playing around with their "fun longboards" but never forgetting the special rubber long-johns as the Pacific Ocean's waters are super cold. 

O pier de Santa Monica é pura nostalgia visual, pois vem sendo usado como locação para filmes a décadas. É o destino de viajantes do mundo todo, devido ao vasto entretenimento que este centenário pier proporciona, com uma incrível vista do pacifico. O pier representa também o marco final da "Route 66".

It's pier is visually nostalgic, it has been used as film location for decades. Due to the vast entertainment that this old landmark offers and it's incredible view to the Pacific, it has no doubt become the route to travelers from all over the World. Santa Monica's pier is also the end of the very well known "Route 66".
