UNREAL

UNREAL é uma nova empresa de doces que alega ter retirado o "lixo" dos doces. O que eles querem dizer, é que a companhia retirou todos os produtos químicos insalubres e inorgânicos dos chocolates mais populares, como: M&Ms, Mars, Snickers, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, etc...  UNREAL recriou esses doces com ingredientes totalmente orgânicos provenientes de toda a América do Sul, Central e do Norte, como o agave azul do México, o cacau do Equador, e o óleo de frutos de palmeiras da Amazônia, só para citar alguns. Como anunciado na embalagem do bombom, o Unreal não possui sabores artificiais, óleos hidrogenados, xarope de milho, conservantes e OGM. Por ser um produto incrivelmente bom e inovador Unreal ganhou a confiança de investidores de peso, como Gisele Bündchen e seu marido a estrela de futebol americano Tom Brady, o ator Matt Damon, o cantor John Legend e o fundador do twitter Jack Dorsey. Todos os quais aparecem neste divertido vídeo dirigido por Casey Neistat e editado por Max Joseph.
Unreal é actualmente vendido nos Estados Unidos pelo mesmo preço dos seus concorrentes, e vai seguramente perturbar o mercado de doces no seu primeiro Halloween. Espero que chegue o mais rápido possível no Brasil.



UNREAL is a new candy company that claims to have taken the "junk" out of candy.  What they mean is that they have removed all the unhealthy and inorganic chemicals out of our favorite chocolate snacks--namely, M&Ms, Peanut M&Ms, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers and Three Musketeers.  UNREAL has recreated these candies from completely organic ingredients from all over North, Central and South America--blue agave from Mexico, cacao from Ecuador, and palm fruit oil from the Amazon in Brazil just to name a few.  As advertised on the candy's packaging, Unreal has NO ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS, NO HYDROGENATED OILS, NO CORN SYRUP, NO PRESERVATIVES and NO GMOs.  If that's not impressive enough Unreal has earned the confidence of celebrity investors Gisele Bündchen, her husband American football star Tom Brady, actor Matt Damon, singer/songwriter John Legend, and Twitter founder Jack Dorsey.  All of whom appear in this fun and kinetic video directed by Casey Neistat and edited by Max Joseph (my husband).
Unreal is currently being sold widely across the United States for the same exact price as its competitors and will most definitely be disrupting the candy market just in time for Halloween.

SANTA MONICA BEACH

A praia de Santa Monica tem sua parceira Malibu ao norte e Venice Beach ao sul. Elas representam o estilo "California lifestyle", com famílias inteiras entrando no mar com seus "fun e longboards", sempre com neoprene porque o pacifico é gelado.

Santa Monica is located between Malibu and Venice Beach. They all represent the "Californian lifestyle" with entire families playing around with their "fun longboards" but never forgetting the special rubber long-johns as the Pacific Ocean's waters are super cold. 


O pier de Santa Monica é pura nostalgia visual, pois vem sendo usado como locação para filmes a décadas. É o destino de viajantes do mundo todo, devido ao vasto entretenimento que este centenário pier proporciona, com uma incrível vista do pacifico. O pier representa também o marco final da "Route 66".

It's pier is visually nostalgic, it has been used as film location for decades. Due to the vast entertainment that this old landmark offers and it's incredible view to the Pacific, it has no doubt become the route to travelers from all over the World. Santa Monica's pier is also the end of the very well known "Route 66".

MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS

O VMA, premiação da MTV para os melhores videoclipes e artistas do ano, é o "red carped" mais moderno de L.A. A festa contou com apresentações ecléticas como MIA, Pink, Greenday, Rihanna, Lil Wayne, etc... e passagens divertidas, como as piadas do host Kevin Hart e Kate Perry, que deu um selinho no lider da banda One Direction ao entregar o prêmio de melhor videoclipe pop.

MTV's VMAs present the awards for the best music videos and artists of the year.  It also features one of the most modern red carpets in L.A.  The show included an eclectic list of performers from M.I.A to Pink to Greenday to Rihanna and Lil Wayne, etc.  There were also some hilarious moments thanks to the comedy of host Kevin Hart and also to Katie Perry who, after delivering the prize for best pop music video, gave a kiss to one of the boys from One Direction.  

Mas a sensação esse ano foi o rapper Coreano Psy, que viu seu videoclipe Gangnam Style virar viral com mais de 150 milhões de views em menos de 2 meses. Cruzamos com esse figura na "fila" do red carpet e ele contou que foi surreal, porque ele já era conhecido na Coreia mas não acreditou quando o vídeo teve alcance mundial.

But the sensation of the year was Korean rapper Psy who saw his music video for "Gangnam Style" go viral with over 150 million views in less than 2 months.  We walked behind him on the red carpet and he told us that it was all very surreal for him, that he was already known in Korea but still couldn't believe how global his video had become.

O VMA aconteceu no "Staples Center" e a festa oficial do evento no "The Palladium", com muitos hamburgers, sweet potato fries e cupcakes.

While the VMAs took place at the Staples Center, the after-party was held at The Palladium with tons of hamburgers, sweet potato fries and cupcakes.

 

CATFISH


O documentário "Catfish", dos diretores de "Paranormal Activity" 3 e 4 Ariel Schulman e Henry Joost, foi protagonizado por Nev Schulman, irmão de Ariel. O documentário mostra a evolução do relacionamento de Nev (através do facebook) com uma menina e sua família, que infelizmente não acabou como ele esperava.

The documentary "Catfish" was made by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost (the directors of Paranormal Activity 3 and 4), and starred Nev Schulman, (Ariel's brother). The documentary shows the evolution of a relationship between Nev and a girl in Michigan via facebook, which unfortunately did not turn out as he expected.




"Catfish" foi apresentado no Sundance; o festival de filmes mais conceituado dos E.U.A.
 Inicialmente gerou controvérsias, pois recebeu muitas críticas positivas, mas também negativas, de pessoas que não acreditaram na veracidade da história. Mas, após o documentário atingir o público, Nev começou a receber emails de pessoas que se identificaram com a história e pediam conselhos sobre seus próprios relacionamentos.

When Catfish was originally presented at Sundance--the most prestigious festival in the US--it generated a lot of controversy.  There were many positive reviews but also a lot of negative reviews from people who did not believe the veracity of the story. However, after the documentary was released in theaters, Nev started to receive emails from people who identified with his story and were asking for advice on their own strange online relationships.



Foi assim que surgiu o "reality show Catfish", que apresentará a cada episódio a história de um casal. Os amigos e filmmakers Nev e Max ajudarão a desvendar as surpresas e mentiras de alguns  relacionamentos online.

This is how the idea for Catfish the reality show started.   Every episode will follow the story of one couple that have been dating online but have never met in person.  Friends and filmmakers Nev and Max will help bring these online lovers together in person, while unraveling their secrets and lies along the way.
